Here is the line-up of the Wildlife Lenses manufactured by Nikon

As of April 2024, Nikon has been expanding its lineup of mirrorless lenses for their Z-mount cameras. They now offer several lenses suitable for wildlife photography that I would consider excellent for wildlife photography:

Nikon Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S: This lens offers a versatile telephoto range with a wide aperture, making it suitable for capturing wildlife at various distances and lighting conditions. The image stabilization feature helps in reduce camera shake, which is particularly useful when shooting handheld.

Nikon Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S: This lens provides a longer reach, making it ideal for photographing distant wildlife subjects. The variable aperture allows for flexibility in different lighting situations, and the vibration reduction feature helps in achieving sharper images, especially at longer focal lengths.

Nikon Z 200-600mm f/6.3-8 VR S: This lens offers an even longer telephoto reach, which can be advantageous for capturing wildlife from afar. While the narrower aperture may limit its performance in low light, the vibration reduction feature assists in maintaining image sharpness.

Nikon Z 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR: This prime super-telephoto lens is compact and lightweight compared to traditional super-telephoto lenses, making it easier to handle in the field. The fast aperture and vibration reduction technology contribute to excellent image quality and sharpness, even when shooting handheld.

Nikon Z 600mm f/4 TC VR S f: Extreme performance and super-telephoto reach combine in Nikon's lightest 600mm f/4, with a built-in 1.4x teleconverter to increase the focal length to 840mm. Exceptional S-Line optics with immense detail and groundbreaking anti-reflection performance. Fast, silent and accurate autofocus with 5.5 stops of optical VR. All in a balanced, lightweight design optimized for hardworking professionals. This is a super-telephoto reimagined for today's high-performance mirrorless.

Nikon Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S: All the reach. Half the weight. Bird, wildlife, aviation and sports photographers, your moment of change has arrived. Experience the freedom of shooting at monumental distances without sacrificing mobility. Pack lighter and cover more ground. Shoot handheld while you're on the move. Track fast subjects with fluid precision and rock-steady VR. All with the extraordinary image quality of an S-Line NIKKOR Z lens at a price that's beyond extraordinary.

Choosing the best lens for wildlife photography depends on various factors, such as the specific requirements of the photographer, the type of wildlife being photographed, budget constraints, and preferences regarding focal length and aperture. For many wildlife photographers, a versatile telephoto zoom lens like the Nikon Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S or the Nikon Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S may offer the best balance between focal range, image quality, and portability. However, photographers specializing in long-distance wildlife photography may prefer the extended reach of prime or super-telephoto lenses like the Nikon Z 200-600mm f/6.3-8 VR S or the Nikon Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S.
