Kevin Pepper
Without the unwavering love and support of my friends and family, I wouldn't be able to lead photography tours across Canada and around the world. Their encouragement fuels my passion for capturing the beauty of our world through my lens.
My heart belongs to nature photography, no matter the season or weather. The stunning Canadian landscape and its diverse wildlife are my greatest inspirations. However, my portfolio is a tapestry of various styles. From the bustling streets of Paris to the eerie allure of abandoned urban spaces, I capture it all for my corporate clients and my ever-growing personal collection.
My work has been featured in prestigious publications like Canadian Nature Photographer, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario's Canada/Ontario 150 initiative, PHOTONews Canada, Photo Technique Magazine, OP Magazine, Quebecor Media, The Weather Network, Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism advertising, Yukon Tourism Social Media promotions, and National Geographic Online. Esteemed organizations such as Villanova University, the Government of Yukon, Yukon Wildlife Preserve, City of Cambridge, Panasonic, Olympus, Sigma, Manfrotto, GORE Mutual, Mary Browns Inc, and African Lion Safari have also utilized my images.
When asked, "What makes a good photo?" I always respond, “A good photograph is one that evokes emotion. Many get lost in the technicalities and composition rules they find online, forgetting to personally connect with their subject. It's about telling a story and capturing the essence of the moment.”
This philosophy is at the heart of my workshops. Photography is my passion, but what truly excites me is guiding others. Seeing the joy and hearing the excitement in their voices as they experience something new, something they connect with emotionally, is incredibly fulfilling. This is what makes my work special and keeps me returning to the field.
I invite you to explore the workshop page and discover all the tours and workshops I offer. Join me, and let's embark on this photographic journey together.
